Originally built to house the farm's sheep and lambs, The lambshed has been lovingly converted into a luxury holiday home - perfect for couples and families, or larger groups (hired together with the calfshed), looking for complete comfort and tranquility.
Living
The cottage has a large L-shaped living area comprising kitchen dining and lounge. The living area has generous french doors looking on to a beautiful enclosed courtyard. The Lambshed retains much of its traditional character with large oak beams and solid polished concrete flooring. With a large linen corner sofa, antique furniture and a wood burning stove this is a great place to unwind. There is Freesat television and Blue-Ray DVD player. The whole property is fully Wi-Fi enabled (though not super fast) so you can keep in touch with the outside world if you need too.
Eating
A large farmhouse style kitchen with oak work surfaces, a butler sink and all the appliances. The dining table seats up to ten should both barns be taken by the same party. The french doors lead out to the courtyard terrace which is perfectly suited for eating outdoors (should weather permit). All kitchen basics and laundry products are provided for use during your stay. A separate utility area is next to the kitchen where there is a washing machine and tumble dryer and a microwave.
Sleeping
There are three en-suite bedrooms, each with a super-king sized bed. One of the rooms can be made up as a twin as they house zip-and-link beds. Each of the bedrooms are a calm palate of Farrow & Ball grey, plump pillows, cushions and duvets in white cotton from the White Company and linen curtains and blinds. Every care has been taken to ensure the rooms are comfortable and calm for a restful nights sleep. All bedrooms have roof-lights with blackout blinds available.
Bathing
All three of the bedrooms are en-suite, the master bedroom has a shower room, and the twin (double) bedroom has a bath with shower over. The downstairs bedroom also has a bath with shower over. Bramley hand soap and moisturiser are provided for use during your stay.
Garden
The Lambshed has a small, private courtyard with a large solid wood table and benches seating up to 10. The courtyard can also be shared with the Calfshed if both cottages are booked together by one large group. The Lambshed also has use of the large orchard and lawned area with a pond and stream.
Parking
